Lost Boys 1987

Michael (Jason Patric) and Sam (Corey Haim) Emerson move with their mother Lucy (Dianne Wiest) to Santa Carla. To live with there grandfather (Barnard Hughes) who is a old man that lives on the outskirts of town. The most exciting thing about the town is the boardwalk, that has an amusement park. The family decide to all go down to the boardwalk and walk around. While in a local video/electronics store the mom Lucy is hired by the owner Max (Edward Hermann). Michael the oldest son is so obsessed with this girl that he sees and starts to follow her so he can talk to her. But when he finally meets up with her she leaves with the leader of a local gang. The leader challenges him to keep up with his crew on there motorcycles, and he leads them all the way to an underground cave. In the cave the gang starts the initiation which involves eating chinese food, and culminating with a swig from a wine bottle. Before drinking the bottle Star warns Michael that he's drinking blood, but he ignores her and starts to drink the bottle. Later that night, Michael joins the gang in hanging underside elevated train tracks. A train passes, and a stunned Michael watches the gang members purposefully fall off into a foggy gorge below. Unable to hold on any longer, Michael falls in as well. Then he wakes up and is laying in his bed. While all that was going on the Michael's younger brother Sam meet theses two boys Edgar and Alan Frog (Corey Feldman and Jamison Newlander). Who run a local comic book store, and also hunt/kill vampires. Sam didn't really believe in what the brothers where saying, but he did begin to see strange behaviors in his brother. Such as sleeping all day, being sensitive to sunlight, and an episode of bloodlust. Michael's behavior gets worse, but Sam denies the Frog brothers' pleas to kill his brother. Michael's new friend's (the local gang) tell him that they are vampires and he is one to. And to prove it they kill some kids at a party. Frightened by what happened Michael leaves and goes to meet star. She tells him that they both are "half vampires" and wont become full until they have there first kill. Then they kiss, and have sex. Sam finds out that if you kill the "head vampire" then his brother will revert back to human a regular human. Du e to this Sam figures the man his mom is dating Max "her boss" is the head vampire, and decide to find out at dinner. Sam and the brothers do multiple test on Max but they all come up wrong so it seemed that he was human. The new plan was to go into the vampires cave during the daytime while they are sleeping and kill them all, hoping that one is the "head vampire". But when the brothers kill the first vampire, his dying scream wakes all the others. But Sam and the brothers manage to escape, while Michael stayed behind to get Star and the little boy. That night Lucy and the Grandfather were on a date so nobody was home. Michael and everybody prepare for the vampires attack. When they come Sam is the first to kill one by shooting him in the heart with an arrow, while the other is kicked into the bath tub full of holy water. Michael and David fly and battle until Michael kicks him into some deer antlers and kills him. But, he is still a vampire and thats when there mother Lucy comes home with Max. MAx finally comes out a say's he is the head vampire. Then Max grabs Michael and is about to bite his neck, but there grandfather crashes his jeep into the house. On the hood were big sharp post, one in which stabs Max killing him, and then Michael is returned back to normal. THE END

1. Opening Image (1): The family sees the sunny front of the sign welcoming them to Santa Clara contrasted with the back of the sign which says in red letters, 'Welcome to the murder capital of the world'.

2. Theme Stated (5): Never Grow Up

3. Set-Up (1-10): Michael, Sam, and their mother move to Santa Clara. The family goes to the boardwalk that night and they each meet their friends.

4. Catalyst (12): Michael follows starr while at a concert and realizes she is the girl of david

5. Debate (12-25): David challenges Michael to race him to the top of the cliff.

6. Break into Two (25) Michael drinks the blood.

7. B Story (30): The mother meets Max in the movie store and he gives her a job which leads them into a relationship.

8. Fun and Games (30-55): People are being killed all over.

9. Midpoint (55): Michael finds out the dirty side of being a vampire.

10. Bad Guys Close In (55-75): Finds out Starr is a vampire, and the they try to kill the vampires to return to normal but all they do is upset them.

11. All Is Lost (75): Michael’s brother cant convince his mom that there are vampires.

12. Dark Night of the Soul (75-85): They are locked in the house waiting for the vampires to come.

13. Break into Three (85): They prepare to fight the vampires

14. Finale (85-110): They kill all the halfpires and have to fight the main vampire. They find out that Max is the head vampire.

15. Final Image (110): The grandpa says that the one thing I never could stand about santa clara “ all the vampires” Showing that he sees Santa Clara as it truly is.
